Dog fans who owe many thanks to Cesar Millan

We had lost our first Corgi to cancer at a fairly early age.  So after 6 months of grieving, it was time to start again.

The first time I met this dog he was so anxious he bit me, barked at vacuum cleaners and chased lawn mowers. This month he turned three and the transformation is amazing. Now he can fetch, sit, lay down, wait for his meal and even stays quiet while two neighbor dogs bark away. Playful, curious and alert, he can stop play, give up a bone or be redirected with less effort each day.

The struggle I face most is the walk - the challenge to keep him to my side or behind. He will not stay in the front yard or out of the street, yet. Still jumps on new visitors as they come in the door.

Cesar has shared the knowledge of the tools I need to practice being calm and assertive. I have experienced growth and success in several areas of relationship with the dogs I groom and dogsit. Together I know more can be achieved. I'm excited to see the next chapter of the story unfold.
